The parliamentary standing committee on Women and Children Affair Ministry recommended the establishment of complaint boxes in each educational institution of the country.
In the second meeting of the parliamentary standing committee presided by its chairman Begum Meher Afroz, MP, the committee recommended establishing a complaint box for students and employees in every educational institution and suggested taking proactive action to stop violence against women, said an official press release, reports BSS. Besides, an elaborate discussion about the ‘Kishor Kishori Club Project’, DNA Lab, and Bangladesh Shishu Academy Ain was held. Two five-member sub-committees were formed in the meeting, for implementing the projects. Md. Abdul Aziz, MP was made convener of the sub-committee for DNA Lab and Bangladesh ShishuAcademy Ain. Other members of the committee are A M NaimurRahman, MP, Begum Shabnam Jahan, MP, Begum Lutfun NesaKhan, MP, and Syed RashidaBegum, MP.

The committee made A MNaimur Rahman, MP the convener of the ‘Kishor Kishori Club project’ sub-committee. The other members are Md. Abdul Aziz, MP, BegumShabnam Jahan, MP, Begum LutfunNesa Khan, MP, and Syed RashidaBegum, MP. The standing committee also recommended finishing construction of the ‘Jayita Tower’ as soon as possible. Respective officials and employees were also present at the meeting.
