Demanding the cancellation of the last three BCS exams due to claims of question leakage, at least hundreds of job applicants staged a human chain protest and demonstration in front of the Public Service Commission on Sunday.
The agitated aspirants highlighted the need to cancel the 44th, 45th, and 46th BCS exams and urged them to retake those exams again. Besides, they demanded exemplary punishment for those who were involved in these occurrences and cancellation of their posting.
Fahim Islam, a government job aspirant, said, “We want the cancellation of the last three BCS exams. Because they are conducted with illicit activities.”
Abdullah Maruf, another job aspirant, said, “We want an example of punishment for those who are connected with this. Besides, we urge lawmakers to take this exam again.”
Under the banner of Bangladesh Diploma Engineers Job Seekers, several participants emphasised the demand for the withdrawal of the recruitment exams for Bangladesh Railway's junior instructor and assistant sub-engineer posts, citing question leaks.
The protesters announced their aspiration to submit a memorandum to the PSC chairman.
