Three new syndicate members have been nominated at Jagannath University (JnU). They have been nominated for next two years.This nomination was confirmed in a circular signed by Prof Dr Md Ainul Islam, registrar (acting) on Wednesday.
The three new syndicate members are Professor Dr Parimal Bala, Physics Department, Professor Dr Laisa Ahmed Lisa, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department and Professor Dr Zakir Hossain, Marketing Department.
As per the notification, according to Sections 17(1)(h) and (2) of the Jagannath University Act, 2005, they have been nominated as syndicate members for the next two years in view of Decision No 7 of the 63rd meeting of the Academic Council.In this notification also mentioned that their nomination was effective on Monday.
