Jagannath University is on the road to implement its own admission test system, putting an end to the GST (General Science and Technology) admission test system by forming an admission test committee.
In an Academic Council meeting, the admission test committee is formed electing the JnU Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Imdadul Haque as Convener on Thursday. In his statement, The Jagannath University Teachers Association (JnUTA) President Prof. Dr. Md Ainul Islam ensured that JnU has got a new body for implementing its own admission test system.
The committee is formed electing the VC as Convener, Registrar Eng. Md. Ohidujjaman as member secretary and the others as members besides there will be a convener and a joint convener to lead the members in unit based committee , according to the JnUTA general secretary Prof. Dr. Abul Kalam Md. Lutfar Rahman.
Note that, the JnUTA's human chain and gathering at VC room on Monday, forced the authority to step forward to implement its own admission system.
