The Ongoing exams of the different departments in Jagannath University (JnU) can be taken by maintaining covid-19 hygiene rules. The matter was disclosed in a notice signed by registrar of the university Md Ohiduzzaman.
According to the notice, physical education activities of Jagannath University will be closed from January 21 to February 6 in view of the notice issued by the Cabinet Division, District and Field Administration Branch of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
But ongoing examinations of the different departments can be taken following the rules of hygiene by the concern of department chairmen and deans of the faculties.
The notice further said that online education activities will continue in collaboration with the teachers and students concerned.
Incidentally, the government has decided to close schools, colleges, and similar educational institutions for two weeks as corona infection continues to grow in the country. In this context, in an emergency meeting on Friday, the university authorities decided to stop physical classes and examinations at Jagannath University for two weeks.
