Jhenaidah District Council had extended their hands towards a poor and meritorious medical student of Kotchandpur upazila when the female student Ruhini Akter was facing severe financial constraints for past few weeks. She was the daughter of poor farmer Ruhul Amin of Kushna village of Kotchandpur upazila.
Reza E Rafin Sarker, secretary of Jhenaidah District Council said they were i0nfo-rmed anyhow that the meritorious female student was facing troubles regarding her admission in Mymenshing medical college.
They had responded the matter and handed a bank cheque for Taka 15 thousand for admission purposes immediately. Family members of Ruhini remain present there.
The local government institution will remain with Ruhini to extend their hands all along.
Reza E Rafin Sarker said, the gvernment of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been considering the women education as one of her top priority activities and doing everything in this regard to bring the women in the front line for an equal right-based just society.
