Body of the Jhenaidah youngman Barikul Islam, killed in a road accident in Malaysia about 23 days back was brought to his village home at Bagutia under Shailkupa police station in Jhenaidah on Thursday afternoon. He was the son of Arif Mandal. He left the country about four months back in search of bread selling all his belongings, said the family sources.
Family sources said Barikul had sustained severe injuries on his parts when he was when he was crossing the road at Penang from his workplace. Locals rushed in hospital where he succumbs to his injuries when he was undergoing treatment. After all legal proceedings, the Malaysian authorities had sent the body in Bangladesh.
The body was brought to his village home from Hazrat Shahjalal international airport that arrived in the afternoon of Thursday. The body was buried in the village graveyard in the afternoon, they said.
