The educational institutions if Jhenaidah started taking classes after a closure of about 18 months following the global havoc Covid-19. The students presented themselves with great enthusiasm while the teachers attended in due time at educational institutions on Sunday morning.
The students along with their books presented themselves in the classes.
The school authorities had welcomed the students with flower. Earlier, their body temperature was measured and hand sanitizer was sprayed to ensure hygiene.
Jhenaidah Deputy Commissioner Mozibor Rahman visited a number of educational institutions on the first day of resumption of classes and expressed his satisfaction over the situation. He had advised the teachers and management committee members to ensure health guidelines and other safety gears during the global havoc corona virus.
While visiting Jhenaidah Government Boys High School, Girls High School, Collectorate School and College and Kanchnanagar School and College, correspondent found that the students were using masks and sat with the specific distance to maintain social distancing in the classes.
A number of students at Collectorate School and College when asked about their reaction over the resumption of the school, said they were very pleased to return to their favorite educational institution after a long time.
Sushendu Kumar Bhowmik, principal of Collectorate School and College said they have been maintaining social distancing to avoid untoward infestation of the global pandemic. The attendance of the learners will increase within a day or two, the principal said.
