Jhenaidah PBS GM confines journos

The general manager (GM) of the Pally Bidyut Samity (PBS) Ishahaque Ali had confined a group of journalists when they went to his office to collect information about frequent load shedding. He (GM) had advised the journalists to go the Prime Minister (PM) to collect this sort of information about power supply. He also had called the attending Ansar men during the time. 

Later the working journalists for Jhenaidah press club had rescued them from the wrath of the said PBS GM Ishahaque Ali. Not only that the said PBS man had manhandled a senior journalist when he had informed that a mechanic of the PBS had sols the PBS transformer to a farmer at Taka 34 thousand. Jhenaidah police men had brought the situation under control when the deputy commissioner (DC) Manira Begum and police super Muntasirul Islam had advised the policemen. The journalists of different wings of media activists had protested the evil doings of PBS GM Ishahaque and demanded his immediate removal.

Journalist said a journalist of an electronic media went to the office of the PBS GM on Tuesday to collect information about frequent load shedding. He denied of providing any information and advised the press man to go to the PM. He also advised to close his camera. Later a group of journalist rushed his office to collect the information once again. 

But the GM got angered and confined them in his office room. He also called the Ansar men to give the journalists lesson, It had creates spark among the employees of the PBS. 

The GM also criticized the directives of the Prime Minister (PM) following load shedding and other steps to mitigate the ongoing power shortage.

As the news was circulated, the journalists from the district town rushed there and rescued the journalists from the wrath of the PBS GM. Deputy Commissioner (DC) Manira begum and police super Muntasirul Islam also advised the law enforcers to rush there and bring the situation under control. 

Later the GM had said he was sorry for the situation.
