The lawmaker of Jhenaidah-2 seat Tahjib Alam Siddiquee Somi on Wednesday inaugurates a community clinic at Uttarkastosagra village in Jhenaidah sadar upazila.
While speaking, the MO said that the people with sound health and mind might build Smart Bangladesh when the Prime Minister had committed to make the country a smart within next few years.
To this end she had established the community clinic with a long term vision to provide health services for each and every citizen in remote villages. Siddiquee was delivering speech at village Uttarkastosagra in Jhenaidah sadar upazila Wednesday.
The lawmaker said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina with her long vision ensuring modern and update medicare facilities for the people both in urban and rural areas to make a healthy nation.
The vested quarter had stopped the community clinics when they came to power anyway. The government of Awami League had re-instead the clinics throughout the country and providing all medicare facilities with huge drugs and other services round the clock.
Civil surgeon in Jhenaidah Dr. Suvra Rani Debnath, upazila nirbahi officer (UNO) in Jhenaidash Sadar Sadiya Jarin and upazila health and family planning officer (UHFPO) Dr. Mithila Islam were present during the inaugural session.
