A tenth grade student of Jhenaidah was awarded almost rear medal titled Manchakuri planned by the founding President of People's Theater and Director General of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy Liaquat Ali Lucky in a simple ceremony at the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy's National Theater Hall auditorium.
The awardee is Jara Abedin Gungun, resident of Jhenaidah district.
Kanchannagar model school and college authorities said Jara was studying in class ten of the school and a regular performer with Ankur Natya Academy.
Various cultural organizations and societies had greeted Jara for her outstanding achievement of the Manchakuri medal.
