Jhenaidah deputy Commissioner (DC) Manira Begum had urged the journalists for wide publicity following digital innovative fair scheduled for November 19 and 20. She was speaking at her conference room in a press briefing on Thursday afternoon.
Manira Begum said the digital innovative fair is being held in all districts to make wide publicity about information and communications technology. Objectives of the fair was to make massive awareness among the people so that they could avail the latest and modern technology as committed by Prime Minster Sheikh Hasina as her election pledges for the nation. The government is committed to ensure utmost services at the doorsteps of the people both in rural and urban areas without any hassle, she said.
Describing the positive attitude and role of the media activists in attaining good results in the development initiatives, Jhenaidah DC said they might aware the people of all walks of life through their writings every time.
