When the global havoc corona virus pandemic had hit hard the whole country, the assistance of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was extended there stand by the least income and merginal people. Third-gender community people in Jhenidah were not excluded from the assstance in Jhenidah.
Jhenidah district administration ahs been working round the clock to ensure food items and csh the have less people caught in the pandemic during thrd pahse of countrywide lockdiwn said deeputy commissioner (DC) Mozibor Rahman.
He said as a part of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina they had distributed rice and cash money among the most affected third-geneder community people, better known as Hizra.
He had handed over 10 kilograms of rice and cash for Taka 500 among 80 familaies including 60 of the third-gender community on Monday morning at Jhenidah Bir Shreshtha Hamidur Raaahman staium.
Additional deputy commissioner (ADC) Selim Reza and upazia nirhabi oficer (UNO) in Jhenaidah Sadar SM Shahin among oters remain present there. The district administrator sdaid the distribution of relie goods from the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s stoge will continue unti and unless the global havoc is over.
