Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) in Jhenaidah circle organised a daylong refreshers training for the professional drivers on developing their skill and awareness.
The training course with a slogan to maintain speed limit and prevent accidents, was held at Jhenaidah district council auditorium.
Presided over by assistant director of BRTA Jhenaidah circle Atiar Rahman, traffic inspector of administration in Jhenaidah Golam Morshed, medical officer (MO) of the office of the civil surgeon Dr. Mehedi Hasan, vehicles inspectors SM Sabuj and Tarek Hossain and Bangladesh Post Roving Correspondent Delwar Kabir attended as special guests.
Jhenaidh press club vi0ce president and SATV correspondent Foysal Ahmed and Daily Business Standard correspondent Bashir Ahmed among others present. A total of 100 professional drivers from different areas of the country had participated in the training course.
The speakers said the country has been marching towards a developed one within a few years under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. To make it smart, the number of road accidents, casualty and death must be reduced. Each and every driver will maintain the speed limit and drive their vehicles cautiously with humanity, they said.
