Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) in Jhenaidah Ariful Islam on Friday donated Tk 500 to disabled elderly man for repairing his wheelchair. The man appeared there not for any relief material, but to receive some money for the repairing work of his wheelchair.
The police officer was taking part in relief distribution programme on the premised of Shailkupa Government Degree College in the district. Hearing the endangered voice, Ariful Islam offered a five hundred Taka note to the elderly disabled. He also advised him to maintain social safety to keep his family members safe from the coronavirus.
Ariful Islam said that he donated the money from his pocket to stand by a disabled elderly man. The needy man might play role to make awareness against the infected disease coronavirus.
