Vice-president of Jhenaidah district Awami league (AL), also an eminent industrialist, owner of Daily Kalbela Nazrul Islam Dulal distributed Eid items among the Freedom Fighters (FFs) at Shailkupa in Jhenaidah marking the holly Eid-ul Fitr. The Eid items were handed over on Jahanara Begum Kawmi Madrashah premises on Monday on behalf of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Presided over by heroic freedom fighter Golam Rais, Nazrul Islam Dulal, the sons of a freedom fighter Abdur Rashid Biswas attended as the chief guest. Conducted by Freedom fighter Israil Hossain, AL district unit vice president Sarwar Zahan Badsha, freedom fighters Asaduzzaman Dulal, Sazedar Rahman and Meher Ali among others spoke.
The speakers said the freedom fighters should be united once again against all odds and irregularities so that they could resist the anti-liberation forces like 1971 as a section of people in the guise of freedom fighters were active to make factions among the freedom fighters.
