I think this achievement belongs to the whole team of this movie. Atanu Da has thought of me for this character, Bumba Da (Prosenjit) has helped me a lot.

I am even happier that director Atanu Ghosh has won the award for best screenplay for the film along with me. It feels really good when the hard work is paid off in this way. It inspires a lot more good work.'

Jaya also posted a status on Facebook congratulating the director of the movie 'Robibar'. "Two feathers were added to the crown of 'Robibar' at the Madrid International Film Festival 2020," she wrote. Atanu Ghosh, the director of the film, won the award for best screenplay. What a great good news for all of us in this difficult time Atanuda! Congratulations to you, lots of love.

Thanking Atanu for giving her the opportunity to act in this film with excellent character, she said, "I have been given the award for the best female actor in a foreign film.

Among so many films and renowned actresses, the prize that came to my destiny is the lion's share of your contribution. If you hadn't made such a film, I wouldn’t have had this good fortune. My heartfelt love to all the artists and craftsmen of 'Robibar'.

Incidentally, the movie 'Robibar' was released on December 27 last year as the last movie of the year. Prosenjit and Jaya acted for the first time here and worked under the direction of Atanu Ghosh. It was also released in Bangladesh on February 21 this year under the SAFTA agreement.
