Popular actress Jaya Ahsan, celebrated for her diverse roles throughout her illustrious career, will be seen as a police officer in her latest Tollywood film titled ‘Dasham Avatar,’ directed by eminent Indian filmmaker Srijit Mukherjee.
The film is nearing completion and is scheduled for release in theaters during the Durga Puja festivities later this year.
The recently released teaser of the movie has already generated excitement among fans. In the teaser, Jaya is seen wearing a maroon blazer over a black dress, sitting on a couch, and fixating on someone.
According to Indian media, Srijit Mukherjee is presenting Jaya in the role of a police officer. This movie also marks a reunion for the actress and director after five years.
However, their previous collaboration was in 2018 with the film ‘Ek Je Chilo Raja.’ During that time, rumors swirled about a romantic relationship between the duo, but they maintained their professionalism and pursued separate paths in both their careers and personal lives. Meanwhile, Jaya's film ‘Ardhangini’ premiered in Kolkata this year, further solidifying her status as a versatile and accomplished actress in the industry.
