After the immense success of "Ardhangini", Jaya Ahsan is all set with another Tollywood film "Dawshom Awbotaar".
The Srijit Mukherji directorial project hit theatres yesterday (October 19) in West Bengal. Earlier, a premiere was held on October 17, after which reactions and mostly positive reviews began to circulate on social media.
In fact, "Dawshom Awbotaar" has set a record in advance ticket sales. According to information from the necessary authority SVF, the movie sold more than 30,000 advance tickets before its release, which is the highest in the Tollywood industry.
This Puja, "Bagha Jatin" starring superstar Dev, "Roktobeej" featuring the iconic Victor Banerjee, and Koel Mallick's "Jangale Mitin Mashi" have all received their releases.
However, it seems that the audience is considering Srijit's "Dawshom Awbotaar" with great enthusiasm, overshadowing the other releases. "Dawshom Awbotaar' has received positive reviews from Indian media outlets as well.
According to many news agencies, in addition to the commercial success of the movie, Srijit's trademark intelligence is evident in parallel.
About Jaya, it's been said that she is the only female character. Her role was perhaps the most challenging to grasp. However, Jaya has made sure that the audience stays engaged from start to finish. The film also stars Prosenjit Chatterjee, Anirban Bhattacharya, and Jisshu Sengupta amongst others.
