Jason Momoa reveals new Fast & Furious 10 villain details and expresses his excitement to play the "flamboyant bad boy" with a "little panache." The Aquaman actor first entered talks to join the next installment in the action franchise in late January with reports indicating he was eyeing the primary antagonist role in the film. His casting would be made official through the Fast & Furious' official social media accounts the same day with star Tyrese Gibson extending a warm welcome to Momoa joining the Fast family.
Fast & Furious 10 is expected to see the returns of franchise star/producer Vin Diesel, Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris, Sung Kang and Charlize Theron, while Jordana Brewster's Mia future is unknown and John Cena has confirmed he won't be in the next installment as Jakob Toretto. Justin Lin, who has been at the helm for five movie and co-wrote F9: The Fast Saga, will help close out the mainline franchise by directing both parts of Fast & Furious Part 10 while series vet Chris Morgan is returning to write. Production is gearing up to begin on the film this spring and one star is sharing new insight for what's to come from his part. While speaking with Entertainment Tonight at the premiere of The Batman, Jason Momoa revealed new Fast & Furious 10 villain details. The star expressed his excitement to be joining the franchise and getting back into the antagonistic side of acting.
As Momoa notes, it's been some time since audiences have seen him take on a strictly antagonistic role on screen, the most recent of which came in the Bruce Willis-starring Once Upon a Time in Venice. Prior to the poorly received action-thriller, Momoa had starred as the primary antagonist in the Sylvester Stallone-led Bullet to the Head, which saw a mixed reception and was a box office bomb upon its 2013 release.
