Jamaat-e-Islam Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman visited the flood affected areas in Senbug and Begumganj Upazila of Noakhali on Thursday and distributed food items among 5,000 flood affected people.
Central Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh, Dr Shafiqur Rahman, said we will rise above caste and religion and build a Bangladesh of harmony together. Oppressors will not be allowed to oppress the weak people. The corrupt will not be allowed to loot the wealth of the mass people. Courts will not be allowed to turn into party offices.
Jamaat Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman made the assertion after visiting the flood affected areas and distributing food items among flood affected people from Thursday morning till Thursday noon.
Noakhali District Jamaat Ameer Ishak Khondokar presided over the food distribution programme. Central Assistant Secretary General Maolana ATM Masum, Member of Central Working Committee and Cumilla Metropolitan Jamaat Ameer Kazi Din Mohammad and others were present at that time
