The 37th Annual General Meeting for the financial year 2022-2023of Jalalabad Gas Transmission and Distribution System Limited (JGTDSL), Sylhet was held on November 12 at the Hotel Intercontinental, Dhaka.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of JGTDSL and Chairman of Petrobangla Zanendra Nath Sarker presided over the meeting. The audited accounts of the company was also approved in the meeting.
The Shareholders and theDirectors present in the meeting were informed that the Company earned a total of Tk5231.50croreas revenue which included sales revenue of 4974.68crore and other income of Tk256.82croreduring the fiscal year 2022-2023.
The Company earned profit ofTk229.73crore before tax and deposited a total of Tk125.41crore to the national exchequer as DSL, dividend,income tax and import duty. Among others, Additional Secretaries, Joint Secretaries, Deputy Secretaries of Energy and Mineral Resources Division, Shareholders&Directors of JGTDSL, Managing Directors of the Companies under Petrobangla and high officials of JGTDSL were also present in the meeting.
