Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) and Six Sigma Management Institute Asia (SSMI), Srilanka signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the establishment of a mutual co-operation. The purpose of this MoU is to explore opportunities for collaboration to their mutual benefit, to set out the respective roles and responsibilities of the parties in working cooperatively to further each other’s and their mutual interests.
The major thrust of the MoU is joint partnership programmes supporting the training and development of students to prepare them for successful careers in management; work collaboratively and carry out joint engagement and outreach to promote and create awareness about IUB trainings, qualification, certification and course related to Six Sigma.
Professor Milan Pagon, vice chancellor (acting), IUB and Sadique Salim, vice president, Six Sigma Asia singed the MoU on behalf of their respective side at a ceremony at IUB on Thursday.
The signing ceremony was also attended by Professor Mohd Aminul Karim, dean, IUB and senior members of admin at IUB.
