IUB organises dengue campaign

During this existing crisis of deadly dengue disease, since prevention has become a very crucial matter, Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) has made another pioneering role helping the disadvantaged people by organising a benevolent campaign on Thursday and distributed 1250 pieces of big size mosquito nets among the slum dwellers in Kalyanpur, Mirpur.

Professor Milan Pagon, Vice Chancellor (VC) (acting) handed over the nets to the most vulnerable people who had been overwhelmed to receive this very timely aid that is extremely useful even saving the lives. 

Md Anwarul Islam, registrar, Dr Nafisa Huq, assistant professor, School of Public Health at IUB, students of the School and large number of people of the community were present and helped implementing IUB’s benign activity. 

Local community leaders and influential appreciated a lot and gratefully thanked IUB for implementing this outstanding as well as well-timed support for underprivileged people.
