IUB holds art competition on Bangabandhu, liberation war

As part of a month-long book exhibition on Bangabandhu and liberation war, Indepenent University Bangladesh (IUB) Library organized the art and quiz competition for school students of Dhaka city.

The events took place on Monday at IUB’s own campus in Bashundhara while the subjects of the competitions ranged between Bangabandhu and Bangladesh’s liberation that also include our great freedom fighters. 

Good number of schools including the students of Baridhara Scholars' International School and College (BSISC), Cambrian School and College, Navy Anchorage School and College Dhaka, Sir John Wilson School and Viqarunnisa Noon School and College, Bashundhara Branch participated in the contests.

Professor Milan Pagon, Vice Chancellor (VC) (acting), IUB, and Muhammad Hossam Haider Chowdhury, librarian, IUB, welcomed the participants. At the beginning of the event, all the participants, representatives of the schools and the guardians visited the Bangabandhu and Liberation War Corner set up at IUB Library. The prize distribution ceremony was held on Thursday through a closing ceremony at IUB.
