A team from Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia, named IU ZeroSkill ensured the second runner-up position in the Inter University CTF (capture the flag) competition held during ‘BUET CSE FEST 2024’.
A team member confirmed the matter saying they secured this position surpassing 31 other teams from different universities.
The competition took place at the ECE building of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) campus on Thursday from 9.00am to 3.30pm. The members IU ZeroSkill team were KM Zubaer Ahmad, Shahin Raza and Samrat Bhakta from Information and Communication Technology Department. They were students of 2020-21 session. Another member was Samiul Quoreshi Sourav from the same department. He was a student of 2021-22 session. Samiul Quoreshi Sourav said we were the only team from our university to participate in the BUET Inter-University CTF competition. Securing the 2nd runner-up position was a moment of joy for all of us. We hope to continue improving our performance in the future and represent our university as well as our department on both national and international level.
