A third year student of law department of Islamic University (IU) was killed in a road mishap at Tuniapara of Mirpur Upazilla under Kushtia district on early Thursday. The deceased student was identified as Shihab Ali (24), son of Monowar Hossain residency of the area in Mirpur.
Bipul Hossain Khan, a family source confirmed that the accident took place while Shihab was returning home by driving Alam Shadhu, a personal vehicle along with his two brothers around 1:00am.
However, Shihab fell into the road and suffered serious injured. The accident left him as dead confirmed by the locals while he was taken to the Kushtia general hospital, source added.
