The authorities concerned of Islamic University in Kushtia have postponed three departments’ recruitment boards after three audio conversations between the university’s vice-chancellor and a job seeker went viral on social media.
A press release, signed by IU acting registrar HM Ali Hasan confirmed the matter on Sunday.
The recruitment boards of the medical officer scheduled to be held on February 20, the board of the Physical Education and Sports Science department, and the Mass Communication and Journalism department scheduled to be held on February 22 were postponed two days after three audio conversations between the vice-chancellor and a job seeker had gone viral on social media.
IU acting registrar HM Ali Hasan said that they postponed the recruitment boards of the departments due to unavoidable reasons. The date and time of these recruitment boards would be informed later, he added. Earlier, a total of five audio conversations, three with Oliur, job seekers of Mass Communication and Journalism department, and two others with an official of a ministry went viral on Facebook.
