Published : 22 Apr 2024 08:51 PM

In a recent announcement, Islamic University (IU) authorities have declared a temporary halt to class examinations for a span of 10 days. The decision comes in light of the upcoming admission examinations for the first year of graduation at 20 clustered universities and the individual 'D' unit of the Islamic University (IU).

The notification, signed by IU acting registrar HM Ali Hasan, outlines the schedule for the honours first year admission test-2024

. Examinations for 'A' units are slated for April 24 to April 27, 'B' units on May 1 to May 3, and 'C' units alongside the university's 'D' unit on May 9 to May 11. Notably, ongoing departmental exams scheduled

before May 24 will continue unaffected. Integration of cluster 'A' unit's exam on April 27, 'B' unit on May 3, and 'C' unit on May 10, aligns with the broader schedule.  Additionally, the university's individual 'D' unit examination is set for May 11.

This decision aims to facilitate the smooth conduct of admission tests, ensuring minimal disruption for students preparing for these crucial assessments.

The temporary suspension of class examinations during this period underscores the importance accorded to the admission process, allowing candidates to focus solely on their preparations without the distraction of concurrent academic evaluations.

With the announced changes, students are advised to plan their study schedules accordingly, leveraging the allotted time effectively to excel in the forthcoming admission tests. This temporary adjustment reflects the commitment of educational institutions to provide a conducive environment for students' academic pursuits, particularly during pivotal assessment periods.
