Dr M Mamunur Rahman, a Professor of English department of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia has been appointed as the new chairman of Fine Arts department of the university on Sunday. IU vice chancellor Prof Dr M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari appointed him to the post for the further decision, IU registrar in charge SM Abdul Latif said.
The newly appointed chairman Dr Mamun had already submitted the joining letter for the post to its acting registrar, he added. Mentioned, the Fine Arts department introduced for the 2019-20 academic session of the university.
