Fazil third year result- 2017, second year (irregular) and Kamil second part (irregular) results under Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia have been published on Monday.
A.K Azad Lavlu, IU acting controller of examination handed the results over its vice chancellor Prof Dr M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari around 12:30pm at VC’s office.
A total of 44435 out of 45294 aspirants passed on Fazil third year exam-2017 while 3722 out of 4421 aspirants passed on fazil second year (irregular).
Besides, 851 students out of 954 aspirants passed on Kamil second part (irregular) examination-2016.
The fazil third year exam-2017 was started on 30 September 2018 while a total of 1278 Madras took part at 292 examination centres.
IU pro-vice chancellor Prof Dr M Shahinoor Rahman, acting registrar SM Abdul Latif, theology faculty dean Prof Dr AFM Akbar Hossain, syndicate member Prof Dr M Mahbubar Rahman, director of IIER Prof Dr M Maher Ali, Prof Dr M Amtaj Hossain and among others were present.
The aspirants would get their results at the university website www.iu.ac.bd.
A K Azad Lavlu confirmed, if any students want to re-examine the results they have to apply within a month to the controller of examination.
Mentioned, a total of 2,44,360 students obtained fazil degree and 84,632 students received Kamil degree under the university from 2008, he added.
