The ‘B’ unit admission test under 2019-20 academic sessions for the undergraduate level students of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia washeld on Tuesday. The tests held at the 6 different centers on the campus around 9:30am to 5.00pm under four shifts while 6,910 aspirants took part each shift. A total of 27,632 seekers logged the application to vie against 1065 seats for 14 department and three faculties including Arts, Social Science and Law faculty of the university.
Prof Dr Anowar Hossain, co-ordinator of the unit said, over 90 percent aspirants attended the ‘B’ tests and the test was held with peaceful environment. The results of the admission test will be published soon at the university website www.iu.ac.bd, he added. IU vice chancellor Prof Dr M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari visited the examination centers with its pro-vice chancellor Prof Dr M Shahinoor Rahman and treasurer Prof Dr M Selim Toha.
