The 71st founding anniversary of the daily Ittefaq was observed by a cake cutting and panel discussion. The event was organized at Munshiganj Press Club Journalist Safiuddin Auditorium.

In the speech of the chief guest, Md. Aslam Khan said, many newspapers have come and gone. Ittefaq has maintained its continuity. The salary of those who work here is also good. Journalists of this district are not only dependent on newspapers. Also lived with other professions. It is the fiduciary duty of journalists to deliver accurate news. He will highlight both the good and the bad in the society. If someone does wrong, he will point it out. And if someone does a good job, he will highlight that too. But let the matter be constructive and honest. America once compared Bangladesh to a bottomless basket. Once it was a difficult thing to go from Bangladesh to America. When you go to their embassy, they say that these poor people are sitting. Now America is giving us visa. But not that hard. He also said, I am with you all the time. Everyone will be fine.
