Society for Critical Legal Studies (SCLS), a study circle based at the Faculty of Law at University of Chittagong, is hosting the 'ISPAHANI presents SCLS Law Olympiad season 4.0' a national competition exclusively for law students of Bangladesh.
The event will commence today and continue for two days (18th and 19th of August) in Chittagong, with "Constitutional Law" as its theme, reads a press release.
Ispahani presents SCLS Law Olympiad 2023 will feature various legal enthusiasts from different public and private universities, who will represent their respective institutions in five rounds of multidimensional competitions. The participants will have the opportunity to showcase their knowledge, skills and creativity in various aspects of constitutional law.
The event will also be graced by distinguished legal personalities of the country, such as judges, judicial magistrates, academicians, jurists, advocates and NGO officials, who will act as adjudicators and mentors for the competitors.
The chief guest for the event will be Justice J.B.M Hassan, a judge of the High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh.
Prof Dr. Shireen Akhter, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Chittagong, and Prof. Benu Kumar Dey, the pro-vice chancellor (academic) of the University of Chittagong will present in the event.

Law Olympiad 2023 Season 4.0 will be a stimulating and enriching experience for the young legal minds of the country. Law Olympiad will also give them a chance to become well acquainted with constitutional law and to express their opinions and suggestions regarding the existing laws.
