The Islamic Foundation Bangladesh (IFB) has chalked out month-long programme at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
To make people aware of the significance of holy Ramadan, the IFB will hold a rally at the north gate of Baitul Mukarram Mosque in the morning.
State minister of religion Sheikh Md Abdullah will lead the rally, said a press release.
During the month, Quran lessons will be given at over 67,000 mosques across the country, said the release.
Islamic book fair, calligraphy and sale of halal goods will be held on the Mosque premises from 10am to 8 pm during the entire month.
IFB will offer iftar to almost 4,000 Muslims every day during the month of Ramadan. Tafseer will be held every day after Zohr
prayers.
Apart from this, discussions followed by the Taraweeh prayers will be held every day during the month, added the press release.
