With joyous and jubilant atmosphere, International School Dhaka (ISD) celebrated the graduation of students who successfully completed their International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP). It was held at the Radisson Blu Hotel in the capital on Thursday.

After two years of intensive study in the IB diploma programme, assessments and exams, students are ready to enter the world of higher education having offers from universities around the world.

Speaking to the students, Ildiko Murray, Secondary School principal said, “Congratulations to all the students for completing the IB diploma programme and US-accredited High School diploma. I believe that this multi-cultural school has given you the freedom to find your deeper, truer selves. You are all unique and I urge you to celebrate that uniqueness above all else. I am sure that your individual paths to success will be inextricably tied to your ability to envision a world beyond that of your peers.” IB diploma programme was developed by a group of international school educators in the 1960s and today there are more than 3000 schools offering the DP in over 100 countries worldwide.

The programme aims to develop students who have excellent breadth and depth of knowledge – students who flourish physically, intellectually, emotionally and ethically.

The IB diploma programme is also recognized and respected by the world’s leading universities.
