The International Accounting Day-2023 was observed at Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia amid festivity and fanfare on Friday with the theme ‘Accounting for good governance’.
The Accounting and Information System department of the university observed the day on the campus. The day was organized by the Bangladesh Accounting Association and an associate of the American Accounting Association respectively.
Marking the day, the department held a colorful rally in front of the Business Administration Faculty building on the campus around 10:00am. The rally ended at the same place after parading the main roads on the campus.
Department chairperson Professor Dr Zakir Hossen, Professor Dr Mizanoor Rahman, Professor Dr Abu Sina and more than three hundred students were present at the event.
