An 'Innovation Showcasing' has been organized at Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) for the first time on Wednesday May 8.
As part of the implementation of the E-Governance and Innovation Action Plan 2023-2024, the Annual Performance Agreement (APA) innovation team organized this innovation showcase. The Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Dr. Md. Didar-ul-Alam, inaugurated the exhibition as the chief guest and inspected the exhibits.
In the exhibition, 23 innovative projects of teachers, students, and staff of the university were showcased. Among them, there were 9 projects by students, 9 by teachers, and 5 by staff members.
At the end of the exhibition, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Md. Didar-ul-Alam, distributed awards and certificates among the winning teams. In a brief speech, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Md. Didar-ul-Alam said, "In this era of building a Smart Bangladesh, we are achieving dominance in innovations in information technology. From technology to human thinking, education-research types are becoming more modern and advanced every day. Today's innovation showcase event at NSTU has further expanded that field of thought. Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working to build Bangladesh as a developed country by 2041. In this regard, the youth must take forward innovative thinking."
Professor Dr. M. Atiqur Rahman Bhuiyan, Dean of the Faculty of Science, Professor Dr. Asadun Nabi , Department of Computer Science and Telecommunication Engineering, Associate Professor Dr. Mohammad Amjad Hossain, Department of Information and Communication Engineering, Registrar Mohammad Jasim Uddin, Deputy Registrar Dr. Mohammad Alamgir Sarkar, Deputy Registrar Abu Zubayer, along with other members of the APA and Innovation Team were also present. The event, Professor Dr. Firoz Ahmed was in a chair and he was also the convener of the innovation Team.
