India will donate 109 ambulances to Bangladesh during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit on March 26 and 27.
Indian High Commissioner Vikram Duraiswamy confirmed to Foreign Minister Dr A K Abdul Momen when he met him on Tuesday, the foreign ministry said on Wednesday.
“On the occasion of 50th anniversary of Bangladesh Independence and in honor of 100th birth anniversary of Bangabandhu, during the visit of PM Narendro Modi, India will donate 109 ambulances to Bangladesh and Sylhet will get 4 of them, disclosed Indian High Commissioner Vikram Duraiswamy when he met Bangladesh Foreign Minister A K Abdul Momen yesterday,” read the statement.
