The Independence Day Handball competition (man and woman) begins at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium on Saturday. Youth and Sports Secretary Mohiuddin Ahmed inaugurated the three-day meet as the chief guest, organised by Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF).
BHF president AKM Nurul Fazal Bulbul will preside over the opening ceremony. The participating men's teams are Ansar and VDP, BGB, Police Handball Club, Team Handball Dhaka and Faruk Tomal Sports Academy.
While the participating women's teams are Bangladesh Ansar and VDP, Bangladesh Police Handball Club, Handball Training Centre, Dhaka and
Viqarunnisa Noon Sports Academy.
