Illness lands Milon in CCU

Popular actor Anisur Rahman Milon is seriously ill. He was admitted to United Hospital in the capital. The actor’s younger brother Ataur Rahman Sumon has confirmed the news in the media.

Sumon said Milon was taken to Square Hospital on Thursday (October 8) night after he developed shortness of breath. The doctors there told him get an ECG done. Then he was diagnosed with heart problems. But as Square Hospital did not have a CCU, he was admitted to United Hospital on their advice.

He said, “We had an ECG done on him at United and found no heart problems there. Later, some tests including Corona sample test were done to diagnose his disease. The results were supposed to come out yesterday (Friday, October 9) evening.”

Anisur Rahman Milon’s acting career started from the stage. He became known for his role in Salauddin Lavlu’s ‘Ronger Manush’ drama series. 

He won the Euro CJFB Performance Award for this drama.

Powerful actor Anisur Rahman Milon made his big screen debut in 2005 with the movie ‘Hajar Bochor Dhore’ directed by Kohinoor Akhter Suchanda. From then on he did not have to look back. He has been working on small and big screens in parallel. As well as acting, Milon is also acclaimed as a director.
