Financed by Institution of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh, one house was donated to homeless Abdul Khaleque at Katila village under Jugipara union of Bagmara upazila on Wednesday afternoon.
The programme for key-handover of the house was attended, among others, by IDEB Central Committee President AKMA Hamid, Vice-President Kabir Uddin, Employment Affairs Secretary Abdul Kuddus, IDEB Rajshahi dist President and the General Secy Aminul Haque and Hossain Shahid Shohrawardi, Organising Secy Mashiur Rahman and dist Relief and Rehab Officer Salah Uddin Al Wadood. Chief Guest Eng Enamul Haque MP addressed his welcome speech on the mobile phone and lauded such humanitarian work.
IDEB President AKMA Hamid said, honourable Prime Minister is making houses for the homeless and distressed people. In support of such humanitarian activities of the Prime Minister, IDEB is also making houses for the homeless in various parts of the country.
By receiving the semi-pucca house Abdul Khaleque expressed his gratitude and respect towards the honourable Prime Minister and the IDEB.
Finaced by the President of Savar IDEB Rabiul Islam, a five member committee headed by PIO of Bagmara Rajib Al Rana constructed the house.
