The Institution of Diploma Engineers Bangladesh (IDEB) revealed its new interim committee at its Kakrail building in Dhaka on Monday.
The interim committee includes Engineer Md. Kabir Hossain as Convener, Engineer Kazi Sakhawat Hossain as Member Secretary, and Engineer Mohammad Golam Kibria Rubel as Organisational Member. They will be joined by 37 other members.
The formation of the interim committee was announced by Engineer Kazi Sakhawat Hossain and Engineer Mirza Mizanur Rahman.
This development follows the resignation of IDEB President AKMA Hamid and General Secretary Md. Shamsur Rahman on August 25, leaving the organisation without leadership. The new interim committee, consisting of 37 members, including the convener, member secretary, 11 joint conveners, 2 joint secretaries, and 22 general members, will oversee the organisation for the next year.
