The management authority of the IDB Bhaban Complex, in collaboration with the Fire Service and Civil Defence Department, organised a fire safety and emergency evacuation drill for its occupants on Sunday, May 12, 2024.
According to a press release, the drill is part of ongoing efforts to ensure workplace safety and security.
Such exercises aim to enhance the readiness of occupants to respond effectively and safely in real emergency situations.
Emphasising the top priority of safety and security for all tenants, the IDB Bhaban management authority stated their continuous vigilance in ensuring the well-being of everyone within the premises.
Regular fire drills are conducted as they can be life-saving during crises.
Mr. Fakhruddin, a senior official from the Fire Service and Civil Defence Department, led the drill.
Following its conclusion, he expressed confidence in the IDB Bhaban Complex's preparedness to handle any emergency.
