The Department of Information and Communication Technology has secured the first position for the second time with the highest score of 98.66 out of 51 ministries and departments in the implementation of the annual performance agreement for the fiscal year 2020-21. The ICT department has been the best in 60 out of 63 indicators of the annual performance appraisal for the fiscal year 2020-21. The award, signed by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, was given at a meeting of the Cabinet Division.
NM Ziaul Alam, Senior Secretary, Department of Information and Communication Technology, addressed the Prime Minister at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital on July 3. Mozammel received the certificate from Haque. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was virtually present as the chief guest on the occasion. NM Ziaul Alam, Senior Secretary, ICT Department, formally handed over the award to the State Minister for ICT in the meeting room of the department today. Department heads, agency heads and project managers were present at the occasion.
This Annual Performance Agreement (APA) was introduced in FY 2014-15 to increase the efficiency and accountability of government organizations.
State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak on Tuesday expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Prime Minister's Adviser on Information and Communication Technology Sajeeb Wazed Joy for winning the ICT category in the APA.
He thanked the senior secretaries of the ICT department, all the agency heads and the project managers for their tireless work in implementing the annual performance agreement as a partner in this achievement.
ICT Department RADP Review Meeting for FY 2021-22 Held: Implementation Progress Over 100 Percent. In addition, a review meeting on the implementation progress of the projects included in the RADP for the fiscal year 2021-22 of the Department of Information and Communication Technology was held in the meeting room of the Department of Information and Communication.
State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak was present at the meeting as the chief guest.
The meeting was chaired by NM Ziaul Alam, Senior Secretary, ICT Department.
It was informed at the meeting that the implementation progress of the projects of ICT department till June 2022 is more than 100 percent.
It may be mentioned that in the current financial year, a total of Tk 1,305.46 crore has been allocated for 31 projects including 3 technical projects under the ICT department.
