The ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 arrived in Bangladesh on Sunday for three-day tour as part of the official Trophy Tour.The trophy arrived in Dhaka at midnight as the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced the day-to-day schedule of the trophy tour in Bangladesh.
As per the schedule, the trophy on Monday will be taken to Padma Bridge for an Official photoshoot at Service Area 1, Padma Multipurpose Bridge, Mawa End at 3pm.
On 8th August, the trophy will be displayed at SBNCS, Mirpur from 9 am to 12 pm for the National Team, Women’s Team, current and former cricketers, cricket officials and organisers and members of the media.
Public display of the trophy will be held at Bashundhara City Shopping Mall, Panthapath, Dhaka from 11 am to 8 pm on 9th August.
The trophy tour that started with hosts India on June 27 would land in Bangladesh on August 7 and leave for Kuwait on August 9.
The ODI World Cup is scheduled to be held in India from October 7 to November 19.
