Md. Shahadat Hossain FCA, Council Member and Past President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB), Board Member of the Confederation of Asian and Pacific Accountants (CAPA) and the Director of state-owned Agrani Bank PLC met with Md. Shameem Ahsan, High Commissioner of Bangladesh to Malaysia on Wednesday at the latter’s office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
During the meeting, Md. Shameem Ahsan was briefed about the activities of ICAB and CAPA.
He was also apprised about Agrani Remittance House, a subsidiary of Agrani Bank.
Shahadat Hossain FCA sought the cooperation of the Bangladeshi High Commission in Malaysia to increase the inward remittance to Bangladesh.
In response, Bangladesh envoy to Malaysia assured to continue the cooperation from the High Commission in the coming days.
He also gave some suggestions to increase the inward remittance to Bangladesh through the Agrani Remittance House situated in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
