A human chain was formed in Jhenaidah town demanding use of coal-based fuel, expansion of renewable energy and ensure transparency and accountability of climate financing issues.
Committee for concern citizens (CCC) Jhenaidah district unit organized the human chain at Jhenaidah post office intersection on Sunday morning.
The human chain activists appeared with banner and festoons.

CCC members Nasrin Islam, M Abbas Uddin Ahmed, principal NM Shahjalal, NGO activists Habibur Rahman, Sharifa Khatun, Aminur Rahman Tuku among others spoke there. The speakers in the human chain said transparency and accountability in climate financing must be ensured.
They had demanded implement their 14-point issues.
