Projonmo Samajkalyan Songstha, a social walfare organisation, formed a human chain in fornt of Dhaka Jaudge Court in the capital on Wednesday demanding action agaisnt food adultration and reform of the Act.
In the human chain, they demanded exemplary punishment of the adulterator.
Mentioned, Food adultration is one of the major problem of the country. Recently the problem has broke out like a diseaster.
However, the country has enacted safe food law on 2013 to prohibite food adultration. Where highest punishment is kept for five years of jail.
The leader of the organisation claimed that this is not sufficient to stop food adultration in the country. The said that, the adulterator should be brought under the capital punishment.
