According to Mymensingh Railway Station sources, seven intercity express trains leave Mymensingh station daily for Dhaka and Chattogram. The trains return to Mymensingh from Dhaka.
There are 152 seats for passengers on Dhaka-bound Mymensingh Teesta Express, 62 on Brahmaputra Express, 44 on Haor Express, 40 on Mohanganj Express, 104 on Jamuna Express, 100 on Agniveena Express and 248 on Vijay Express in Chattogram. As many as 750 seats are available in seven intercity trains.
The government has made arrangements for passengers to buy 365 tickets directly from the counter and the remaining 365 tickets online for the coronation period. Tickets are on sale five days in advance.
Imran Ali, a passenger from Mymensingh said, "Train tickets started selling from the counter at 8 am. Tickets are no longer available at the counter after half an hour of sale. The booking master said that the tickets were sold out. '
Abul Hossain, a passenger on a Dhaka-bound train from Mymensingh said that there is no way to cut tickets online. After a while I entered and saw that the ticket was over. How online tickets are running out so fast, where these tickets are going, is a mystery. But online tickets are being sold at high prices on the black market. '
Admitting to getting tickets on the black market, Mymensingh Railway Station Superintendent Jahangir Alam said, ‘The number of tickets for intercity trains leaving Mymensingh for Dhaka is very low. Every day at 8 am, after leaving the ticket, the passengers take it in a short while. A person can get a maximum of four tickets by showing an ID card. As the number of tickets is less, it is time to finish from the counter. However, it is true that passengers are not getting tickets online. '

Mymensingh Railway GRP Police Station OC Mamun Rahman said, "There is not much opportunity to black market tickets from railway station counters. However, tickets sold online are sold at higher prices by the black marketeers. Occasionally, the district administration takes action against black marketeers by setting up mobile courts. The OC further said, "Passengers returning to work at the end of Eid are under a lot of pressure. We are working hard to ensure that passengers can travel safely. "
